Built for modern transport networks

Designing microwave equipment involves more than achieving high throughput. Network performance must remain stable as weather conditions change, traffic demands fluctuate, and spectrum environments become increasingly congested. Deployment must also be straightforward for field teams while providing operators with the visibility and control needed to manage and scale their infrastructure.

The solution uses a compact, all-outdoor hardware design that does not require additional equipment shelters, supporting rapid on-site commissioning. Engineered for wide operating temperature ranges, the platform is designed to perform reliably in harsh outdoor environments, including industrial, energy, and field communications applications.

It delivers low-latency, deterministic packet transmission that is well suited to modern RAN architectures and transport networks. The platform supports the strict latency and jitter requirements of private 5G, industrial automation, and mission-critical services.

These requirements have guided the development of the Zenlynx microwave portfolio. Zenlynx outdoor IP radios are available in 1+0, 2+0, and 4+0 configurations, supporting capacities ranging from more than1G bps, 2 Gbps to over 4 Gbps (multiple carriers with XPIC), with even higher throughput achievable through aggregation. The platform is designed to support a wide range of applications while adapting to evolving bandwidth requirements.

To maximize availability and spectral efficiency, Zenlynx microwave radios incorporate technologies such as  Hitless ACM (Adaptive Coding and Modulation), adaptive transmit power control, advanced FEC ( forward error correction), and modulation schemes up to 4096QAM. The result is a transport solution capable of maintaining high performance and reliability, even in challenging operating environments.

The platform also supports key carrier-grade technologies, including SyncE, IEEE  PTP 1588v2 BC&TC, Layer 2 switching, VLAN, QinQ, QoS (quality of service), AES-256 encryption, secure remote management, and advanced diagnostic capabilities. These features provide the foundation required for both carrier-grade and private wireless deployments.
